'Suiun was voor ons wel de kroon op ons verblijf in Japan. Wat een ontzettend fijn, zen en rustig hotel. Eten was formidabel, zowel ochtend als avondeten. De algemene Spa en Onsen waren fantastisch. Het personeel was uitmuntend. Mocht je ooit naar Japan gaan, boek deze Ryokan en ervaar de Japanse cultuur. Onze speciale dank gaat uit naar Suiun Manami. Wat een schat van een meid. Ze kon ook nog redelijk Engels. '

'Wij zaten in een een kamer boven. Het matras was prima. Het werd wel heel benauwd en muf in de kamer, geen airco en geen raam. '

'Traditional ryokan in for the night was lovely! Room was very traditional and staff were polite. We had breakfast and dinner which was interestin. The views and private onsen were lovely and I felt very relaxed there. Only improvements would be to allow luggage storage/transport to station and cleaner onsen. '

'Family of four (with 8yo twins) stayed here in November 2025. It's a beautiful inn, comfortable and clean and quiet, with friendly staff and good food for breakfast and dinner. The bath is lovely -- staff help you book a time in the evening at check in, and it's available on a first come first served basis in the morning. Free shuttles up to Gora in the morning are also a bonus (although you'll have to get yourself to Asante in the afternoon/evening as they don't offer shuttles then). Overall a...

'What a delightful hotel!! Awesome location literally next to the train station, great food in the area as well as at the hotel restaurant. The included breakfast was amazing. Onsen was really lovely too. Rooms were very minimalist but comfy and had a great view. '

'We loved this accommodation! I was sad to only have stayed one night. There is a 7-11 we walked to for food and snacks, a bus stop we walked to for transport for sightseeing and a nice view of the mountains from the dining room. During our trip we went to onsens and shrines. At the Stagione we enjoyed the heated water for the bath and showers. There is one bathtub and two showers. There are two toilets. I thought having a blow dryer and also a small hair straightener was a kind thoughtfulness....
