'The breakfast actually stayed well stocked throughout the designated times. Two waffle machines helped move crowds along. King bed was older but a quality built bed so sleeping was easy on the medium firm mattress. As always Little Africa Cuisine on Fulton St was an Amazing Unique celebration of food. I don't know of another restaurant like this in the United States. Also, the Social House next to Van Andel Arena had a budget friendly menu with interesting appetizers and amazing pizza!'

'I was most impressed with the parking situation. I was concerned before arriving that parking and loading and unloading over 300# of luggage and gear would be a problem, but that was not the case at all. The area reserved for use in the parking ramp was on the same level as our room, so rolling our cart from the car to the room every day was quite a simple chore. Other than that, the room was clean, comfortable, roomy, and well furnished. And the staff was friendly and very helpful.'

'Everyone was kind, breakfast was good, rooms felt very clean, and parking was easy. It was nice that you could park in the front or back and could easily enter the hotel directly into the elevator area. Kids had a great time in the pool. Only negative thing that could be said is the beds could have been more comfortable. Would stay there again. '

'My husband and I stayed at Heidis place while visiting GR for an appointment. The carriage house was perfect for one night. Clean space, beautiful location and easy check-in. The pool looked inviting, but we were too busy to jump in. There is a fenced area near the pool that kept the backyard seperate from the space you're in which was nice since we had our pups with us. -Just a heads up to future guests: the Keurig was there but no coffee pods only tea pods, and there were no paper towels.
