'My husband, five year old and I stayed here for 3 days. We really enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful open floor plan, artistic decor with big slider windows leading out to the patio. At night there was a wonderful cross breeze and sounds of geckos and coqui frogs floating on that breeze. It was in a convenient spot, not directly in town but close enough to go out for food, drinks, beaches, etc. The owners were kind and quiet. Their dog was such a sweetheart, our daughter loved the encounters...

'We were looking at the Waipio Valley cliffs and ocean right in the bed! The view is better than the Outlook site which is half mile away. The scene is changing all the time, sunshine, hovering clouds, overcast, rain, and rainbow of all kinds, like one coming right out of the valley half mile away while the orchard is sunny and the cliffs under overcast. 'Instead of driving home late we wanted a place to stay after going to the theater in Hilo. Dolphin Bay Hotel was perfect. Within walking distance to the theater, shops and restaurants made it a very convenient option. Our room and the entire area is very clean. Our room was airy and comfortable. Our host even upgraded at no extra charge. There was a complete kitchen and the shower and bath tub were great. The grounds are kept beautifully, staff were very friendly and helpful - we felt aloha...
