'Check-in was easy and as directed. It was great to have a parking space out back. I wish I had known that it was easier to get into the basement apartment from the back parking lot, rather than bringing everything in from the front door. It is a basement apartment with no outside light. Ceiling lights don’t work so you get the light from floor lamps. We were able to check in an hour early, but it was on a whim that I tried since I had emailed, messaged and tried calling the host multiple times...

'I rented this property for a family gathering around the Boston Marathon and the reservation was canceled 10 days out without any warning. The property was not listed as for sale and the reason for cancellation was that the property was sold. Your system should not have sent me a request for review.'

'Room did the job, unfortunately the lights in both bedrooms did not work. Be aware images may not match the room you receive. Multiple stains on the couch, that are questionable at best. Won’t stay again, but we made it work.'

It was difficult to contact the property and I did not even receive a full refund. 'It's a spacious two-bedroom unit in an old wooden house without adequate reinforcement of its structures. Walking in the room or someone walking upstairs or in staircase can produce loud noises from loosened wood structures. Kitchen was not adequately cleaned. Countertop still had marks left from uncleaned dish plates. The dish rack was partly rusted. Cooktop, coffee maker, frig, etc. were all in good working condition, but not enough cooking utensils were available. It's a two-bedroom...
