'On average very good! The rooms are a bit on the older side but cozy nonetheless, the only thing that really needs to go is the carpet and the bed could do with some new matresses. Housekeeping could come by a little more often to check for toilet paper etc. The breakfast is really good! And the staff was absolutely lovely! There was a wedding as we were staying there but we didn't have any problems with the noise. Granted, if you are a light sleeper this maybe isn't the hotel for you but it...

Afstand tot de boot goed aan te rijden, echter wel rekening houden met traffic jam rondom Edinburgh.
kamers een beetje oubollig, lampjes stuk, bad loopt niet goed door en dat is helemaal vervelend als je moet douchen in het bad.

Dit goed geconserveerde Schotse klooster biedt spectaculaire uitzichten op de zee en het omliggende terrein en deze plek leent zich goed voor het maken van mooie foto's.
"Booked a long weekend for 6 people. Separate 2-person rooms with breakfast. We were able to temporarily park our luggage upon arrival before checking in, which was very nice. We were greeted politely at check-in. The hotel room was equipped with various amenities, a good bed with clean bedding. Large TV with play station. Well maintained and clean. Breakfast was neat, with various options, but mainly focused on the English breakfast. We received compensation after the breakfast was incomplete, neatly arranged! Close to all the beautiful things to see in Edinburgh, public transport nearby. The only disadvantage was the very noisy 6-sisters, loud music."

Although close to the airport a good connection could be made with the Edinburgh city-center via public transport or car.
Room was spacious and well kept with a proper bed to sleep.
This hotel is well worth the money with a shopping-mall close by, although transport is needed to reach as a main road has to be crossed.
The breakfast was not enjoyed as we were on our way early, but as airline crew are also staying here it should have a certain standard."
