'Very comfortable house with large rooms and plenty of space throughout the home. The spaces in the main rooms provided plenty of space for our work meetings and allowed to work in small groups for discussions. Definitely recommend this house for large numbered families or for off-site work related group meetings. Highly recommend if anyone is looking for a quiet and peaceful residence to enjoy, this home in this quiet residential neighborhood would be a great one to consider.'

'We came from Tennessee, Illinois, Maryland and Virginia to be in Portsmouth VA for our granddaughter’s wedding. “Paradise House” was the perfect place for us. Spacious, beautiful and comfortable. TVs in almost every room but we didn’t use them. The neighbors were friendly, the sun was shining and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.'

'What a wonderful place to stay. A really great house that makes you feel a part of colonial history surrounded by a beautiful forest, English garden and a fun hiking trail from the front door. Cliff and Joy couldn't have been more gracious. Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown , Yorktown and the historic plantations are a short drive and ferry away. This is a amazing house a very unique stay'

'We had a wonderful time, we were visiting a friend in Chesapeake VA, the stay was one of the highlights of our trip, the house is beautiful inside and out, the beds are comfortable and clean, the kitchen had everything we needed including some coffee and a bottle of wine 🍷 complements of the host, Yvonne and Kevin were always there to help when we needed, thank you for everything we will definitely come back and recommend this property, 😃👍'

The home had everything we needed, and Joseph provided lots of extras…toothbrushes, a towel to wipe our dog’s paws, snacks, coffee k-cups, and a filtered water pitcher in the fridge. Neighborhood and home are older, but it was very quiet and we felt safe and secure. Loved having the fenced backyard for the dog. 'Very spacey 3 level house with an awesome view and a private beach. Loved the big bay window in the kitchen. 4 large TVs with premium channel packages. Rode the ferry, did the kayak and Chippokes park. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Enjoyed the little town of Surry, monster sub at the Ham shop and treats at the cupcake shop. Had a wonderful time at this property!!'

'There was no need to leave the property. The house was so large, everyone had her own bedroom with a couple left vacant. We felt at home, it was welcoming. The kitchen had all we needed. We did not need to use our bottled water we brought because the host provided it for us. We did not need to use the paper products we brought because there were nice dishes and flatware in the kitchen. The kitchen is modern and comfortable. We enjoyed watching movies in the family room and playing card and board...
