'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '

'Although the staff was friendly and polite, the cleanliness of the room was completely unacceptable. There was a dead cockroach inside the built-in air conditioner located near the floor. Even worse, the bathtub had sand that had not been cleaned, and there was someone else’s pubic hair on both the walls and inside the bathtub. It was absolutely disgusting. Taking a shower in those conditions was extremely unpleasant. We arrived late in the evening after a long drive, so we didn’t want to...

'The pool area is not well kept or clean. Breakfast included, but same food was offered everyday over 4 days of the stay, so we ended up grabbing breakfast out. Not convenient to downtown Charleston or the beaches if you are looking to go there.'

'I love that they welcome you with your name on the TV when you walk into your room. I love that they had a refrigerator and microwave! A lot of hotel no longer give you a microwave. They gave free breakfast until 10. They were very clean. Nice fitness center and pool area. The only negative is having to pay $14/ night for parking.'
