'A trendy yet modern boutique hotel, with clean and quirky rooms, in addition to the most lovely, welcoming, and accommodating staff. This was our first time staying at Vastu Boutique Hotel and it absolutely did not disappoint. The location is approx a 25/30 minute drive from Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, and is surrounded by markets, endless food opportunities, and local culture. 'Sanctuary garden. Super helpful and friendly staff. Generous and delicious breakfast. Clean and nicely appointed traditional rooms. Highly recommended. '

'Staff were drinking and gambling until late hrs for the three nights we were there. Smoking below our room. Not super friendly. Seems like it is the hub for staff friends to come over and party. I’m not particular about cleanliness but the actions of the staff is giving this hostel a poor review for me.'

'Prachtige historische (UNESCO-werelderfgoed) locatie op een paar minuten lopen van Patan Durbar Square. Comfortabele kamers met goede verlichting en sanitair. Historische lage plafonds worden na een paar dagen toch wel wat ongemakkelijk. Zeer behulpzaam en flexibel personeel en fantastisch ontbijt (vers fruit!). '

'We had a lovely stay at Avalon house and the staff just did everything right. We got a homecooked meal both days and had a late flight the following day but we were still allowed to have our bags stored there and use their wifi while we were waiting. Very much appreciated!'
