'Beautiful property and landscaping. Really kind staff, hard-working, but slow service. Which is fine if you are up for a long relaxed meal. Probably a little understaffed.. Everyone worked very hard. Room was very nice but a little dated the bed was slightly soft for my comfort but very rich and historic site. '

'Comfy bed and cosy interior. Sweet thoughtful touches to make it an easy stay. Well equipped kitchenette. Great for a few nights - we went to a wedding at Burtonfieldshall. We brought lots of food with us for our cooked brekkie , but maybe some bread and butter would have also been a nice touch? But really, it was perfect for what we needed it for. Wifi was probably the only thing that struggled a bit, but quite frankly didnt need it. '

Such an awesome, cosy and quaint motel to stay. The breakfast made to order, warm and delicious was an unexpected treat. The waiting/counter staff were wonderful and friendly. Made our 1 night stay simply great and wish for a B&B experience a great one indeed. Room was huge and bathroom so clean. Water pressure was like a waterfall - another welcomed surprise. Thanks!!'

"The service from the staff was very good: friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, a lot to choose from. The room was a bit small for a familyroom in a hotel with 4 stars. Also warm. The parking was in the weekend full so we had to spend 28 pound for a parkingticket."
