"Leuk eenvoudig hotel en prima te doen als je niet van al te veel luxe houdt. Lastig is dat je geen eigen sleutel van de voordeur bezit maar moet aanbellen. Douches op de gang zijn erg verouderd en een douche zelfs onbruikbaar door defecte douchestang waardoor douchekop in de hand moet worden gehouden tijdens douchen. Winkel aanbod in de buurt is top. "

"We got our private riom, and a bed was still used. The room was humid. The male part of the toilets/showers was not working so men came in the female section. No towels provided, and also not mentioned anywhere there would be no towels. Showers were incredibly small and old. We paid quite a bit and did not find it worth it at all."

"Na een tussenstop in Windsor opnieuw naar dit hotel geweest, ditmaal een kleinere en (nog) oudere kamer. Kinderbed was vergeten, snel opgelost en ook de handdoeken waren vergeten maar ook dit was weer snel opgelost. De locatie is prima, het personeel is heel vriendelijk, restaurant is goed maar de kamers zijn echt overpriced tot de renovatie achter de rug is."

"Great hotel, clean, spacious rooms, close to many things in Rotterdam. The neighborhood is tricky though with drug addicts standing close to the front door both in the afternoon and in early night. We did not feel unsafe, but uncomfortable, yes Knowing this I would not stay here on my own. I know the hotel can not help this bit it is factor to consider."

"I would not recommend this hotel. The room was extremely small, with dirty curtains and a mattress where you could feel every spring—definitely not comfortable. There was no storage space for clothes, and the shower was dirty as well. The tap in the shower barely worked: either scalding hot or freezing cold, with no in-between and very poor water pressure. Another major inconvenience was that you can’t leave your luggage at the hotel if you arrive before check-in or need to check out early. When I asked the man at the reception if I could leave my suitcase for a while, I was met with a dumbfounded look and the response: “Does it look like I have space for that?”—instead of simply and politely saying there was no room available. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming. The walls are paper-thin—you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms, which makes it very hard to get a good night’s sleep. The floor in our room was uneven to the point where you could literally trip getting out of bed. Although breakfast was supposedly included, no explanation was given about where or when it was served. There was also mention of a hairdryer being available, but I certainly didn’t see one in the room. On top of all that, the photos of the rooms online are very misleading—they do not reflect the reality at all. In my opinion, the value for money was extremely poor. I paid far too much for what this place is actually worth. Only positive thing: located close to King’s Cross & Metro. "

"Hele mooie en rustige ligging, perfect om tot rust te komen na een drukke dag in de stad. De kamers zijn wat verouderd en aan de kleine kant maar alles is aanwezig. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam."
