'Perfect for me traveling solo. The place was extremely clean. The towels were soft. The sheets were soft. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was the best bed I have ever had in renting places in OBX for 30 years. Everything I needed was there. About a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. My favorite seafood market in walkable distance. The deck was private. It was quiet. There is the pattering of feet during waking hours above that I got used to quickly. The neighborhood is quiet. ...

'We escaped to this lovely apartment for a long holiday weekend. Located I the heart of Avon we didn’t need a car at all our bikes suited us just fine. We were content and felt at home with everything we needed'

'Had a great time. Third floor not wheelchair accessible. I was fine. Clean and newly renovated. The guys in the surf shop were very friendly and accommodating. I didn’t use any surf shop offerings however available. My family was at camp Hatteras campground so they came and got me each day. Only 2miles away. Laundry was free to use . Not in my apartment but 1 flight down.'

Lee also has an outdoor shower, which is nice after coming home wet and sandy. 'We had so much fun at this property! I felt like it was perfect because we had a washer and dryer, so it was great for washing clothes for our baby (we traveled with a 7 month old). 'We absolutely loved the cabana and the personnel at Wtermen’s retreat! From check in to dining and the water sports offered, all were nothing short of spectacular! We had a blast at our cabana and the beach was a short walk away. The food at the restaurant was fabulous and the sunsets were freaking awesome!
