'The property was right on the beach/sand dunes. There is a set of stairs and a ramp over the Dune from the parking lot. We had a ocean front room with balcony that was very enjoyable. The room was spacious with comfortable beds, full bank of windows facing the Ocean and nice bathroom. Breakfast was a treat every morning with fresh brewed coffee and a hot or cold breakfast; In tidy surroundings. Hotel is centrally located for restaurants, sites and fun. Ample parking. 'Fantastic ocean beach view from the balcony! Could see Wilmington buildings a few miles to the South. Shell Island Resort is at the end of the beach road! Walk the beach 1.5 miles northward the the ocean "river" flowing into the salt water marsh...Amazing!'
