'Liked the outdoor setting, the pool area, Mollys,close to beach. Room was clean. The entire property was clean. Hospitality was great'

'The ‘old bask’ (with its spacious studios on the upper floors with the seaside view) was always a lovely place to stay, with its close proximity to piers, docks & restaurants. The now completed additions are an upgrade but now it also includes the new restaurant “mar” with a Top Chef associate running the kitchen (one had to try the grilled octopus sitting on a plantain!) This puts Morehead City into a whole new experience level, justifying the long trip'

'This hotel is severely outdated, nowhere near handicap, accessible rooms were dirty, covered in sand whenever we walked in the first day the first night the TV didn’t work in our bedroom come to find out there’s also no air conditioners in the bedrooms. We left early from our stay and the hotel refused to refund us The rooms were terribly hot at night and then the hotel told me that TV is complementary so they had no reason to fix our TV first night. We were there also when the TV didn’t work...

'Mooi gelegen hotel langs onze roadtrip aan de oostkust. We waren met drie personen en hadden een kamer met dubbele bedden geboekt. De kamer zelf was boven verwachting ruim en compleet. Wat wel tegenviel was de staat van de bank, daar zakte je half doorheen, en de vloer was plakkerig en vochtig. Mogelijk iets met de aurco of overnatig zeepgebruik bij schoonmaken. Helaas iets waar we pas achter kwamen nadat we ons hadden gesettled. Omdat we maar één nacht bleven hebben we dit door de vingers...
