'This olace is great! The ladys who take care of this place are nice and friendly. We are very near from multiple restorant and shop. Its was really nice to live a japanese experience in the Ryokan. The ladys lrepare for us the traditilnal bath. Every evening we had a great tea. The place is spotless. Even thought we have to share toilet and shower its really convenient. We had good sleep. I recomand this palace to anybody who wants to try a Ryokan. For sure if I ever go back in Kyoto i would go...

'It is located across the bridge from the popular restaurant district. We found it extremely easy to get to. The staff greeted us warmly and were extremely helpful. The breakfast was incredible and was the cherry on top for our experience. The only advice I have to share is that there are many mosquitos in the garden (can’t be helped) and to be ready for breakfast 30 minutes before your time. '

'Gloednieuw (april 2019) en kraaknet apart-hotel, heel aangenaam voor een iets langer verblijf in Kyoto. De ligging is uitstekend, vlakbij de metro en Gion, maar toch een rustige straat net buiten het overdrukke deel van de stad. Achter de hoek zijn lekkere restaurantjes en koffiebars. Wij werden aangenaam verrast door de moderne en volledige uitrusting in de kamer (eigenlijk meer een studio dan een kamer). 'Had a great time staying at this property. The staff were very helpful as well as understanding when i spoke to them. The property is near several convenience stores and was walking distance to the train station as well as some major sight seeing locations. Clean and tidy and loved the bathroom in the evening for a relaxing bath. '

'Lovely 100-year old house repurposed as guest house. Modern additions such as air con and shower room added around original building with wooden sliding doors and futon beds. Lovely, helpful owners met us and showed us everything - thank you!'
