We loved the location as it is located closer to the train station also plenty of dining options nearby. Only concern was the bedsheets don't get changed which we did not like. 'This was a unique property to stay at for our Japan trip. The property was beautiful and was definitely an experience I recommend. Staff was so helpful when first arriving. They try their best to explain things, especially with a language barrier for myself. The hospitality was exceptional. Would recommend anyone to stay here. A little far of a walk from the main station with luggage so maybe a take a taxi. And have them take you to the check-in area instead of the property itself.'

'Het guesthouse biedt veel zelfstandigheid: central keuken met gelegenheid om zelf te koken of eten op te warmen en in te zitten. Rustige buurt. Met buslijn 9 goed bereikbaar vanuit station Kyoto. 'Aanvankelijk zeker niet okay, maar na een klacht bij het management werd alles prima geregeld zoals we het wilden hebben. De basis inrichting e.d laat te wensen over, ook de schoonmaak was bij aankomst niet in orde maar we kregen een dag later een verl betere kamer en elke dag werd er schoon gemaakt. '

De ligging is uitstekend, vlakbij de metro en Gion, maar toch een rustige straat net buiten het overdrukke deel van de stad. Achter de hoek zijn lekkere restaurantjes en koffiebars.
