'I would recommend this to ANYONE going to San Juan. First of all, location. In Old San Juan, right next to the Cathedral and a block from La Fortaleza, EVERYTHING is within walking distance. Second, it is BEAUTIFUL. The yellow color, the archways, the atrium and open-air restaurant, gorgeous foliage all around. The rooms are lovely too with high ceilings and spacious bathrooms. 'I had a great stay at Casa of Essence. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making early check in easy. The property was very clean, both in the rooms and in the common areas, which made the stay even more comfortable.
