'We really enjoyed our stay at the Restful Retreat! We loved how they had everything labeled so you don’t have to go looking for things. The bed was really comfortable, my husband said it was his best nights sleep he’s had in a year! Kim sent us messages checking in on us to see if there’s anything we needed. It was convenient to Winthrop University and within walking distance to a nice Veterens Garden. It’s also close to restaurants, grocery store. We would stay here again!'

'We have stayed in Sara’s Shacks before so we weren’t concerned. Unfortunately we should have been concerned. We arrived after dark. Once I got into the house to turn the outside lights on, we found that the front porch light was burnt out and the back porch lighting was very poor. I messaged Sara about the front porch light and she messaged back immediately “I’ll send someone over to change the front porch light, sorry about that.”The next night we came back and no light. I messaged Sara “Again...

'Horrible! Asked for creamer. None. Use milk.none. biscuits crumbled trying to pick them up. Sausage gravy dried to bottom of vat. Eggs in fridge. Heat them yourself. Started at 6am. Got there at 6:12. This was breakfast smh'

'Marsha and Keith very welcoming and friendly. Easy to communicate with regarding check in and any questions once we were there. Carriage house was a beautiful cozy retreat with an amazing view! So relaxing, quiet and tranquil. Had everything needed to feel like home! Would absolutely recommend and return again!! '

'The hotel was OK. But highly under staffed. Not enough staff to run the Cafe and the check in desk. Wait for food was an hour. Staff were very nice and helpful. The room was not completely clean. Left hair bands on the floor, which indicated not vacuumed well. Ants around the TV and AC. The bed squeaked like an old spring mattress, but was comfortable. The room was ok, but for the price it didn't meet the standards'
