'Stayed over Memorial Day weekend. House was chosen as overflow lodging for a family event nearby. Sleeping set up was great for adult children with their own young families. One of our adult children has 3 little ones 3 years and under and they were able to stay together in the massive master bedroom with a quiet upstairs location perfect for kids naps. 'My daughter in law and I decided to go to Charlotte, NC to see a concert. We didn't want to stay at a hotel and decided to stay at a B&B and found The Silly Chicken. What a find! We stayed in the guest house and it was amazing. The chickens were so much fun to see and breakfast was delicious. We will try to go back and spend a few more days soon.'

'I always enjoy my stay at this location and the staff is wonderful! The breakfast is really good and I especially enjoy having a home made breakfast verses a breakfast bar! The concierge service was fantastic even with a last minute change and the room was stocked to my liking. Gary was one of my favorite servers with his kind attitude, and charm, just a perfect host.'

'My daughter and I stayed at Summit Street Inn for a weekend of college touring and getting to know Winston Salem. This inn is beautiful and clean, conveniently located at the “end” of downtown. We felt safe and walked to dinner and other outings. The home is well maintained with a mix of old (original creeky floors) and new (bathrooms) and lovely gardens! We will be back!'

'Beautiful property on high rock Lake that was meticulously maintained and accommodating. Alfred made our stay over the top by his attentiveness and attention to our needs of any kind! The house was plenty ice and well equipped, and there was plenty of parking as well as additional parking offered. I would stay there again anytime and likely will book another weekend soon.'
