'Oud en naar motel, we sliepen boven een bar! Luidruchtig en de metro denderde voorbij. De receptionist amper gezien, er is ook geen receptie. De buurt voelt onveilig en zeer ongezellig. Hier komen wij nooit meer. En dat voor die prijs. Heel heel jammer.'

'Een prima hotel met redelijk recent gerenoveerde kamers. Het is een hotel wat goed gelegen is voor zowel golden gate bridge en golden gate park.
Het ligt ook op 5 minuten lopen van het strand.
Hoewel de kamer in grote lijnen schoon was (bedden en sanitair) lag er behoorlijk wat stof op de kasten en de vloer was ook niet gedweild (laminaat vloer).

'They had all our amenities and wants covered, free street parking on the weekends (3 hours max during the day on weekdays), and with the wonderful buffet breakfast and happy hour open bar/ food it was really a good deal. 'This location was absolutely amazing. A true hidden gem to stay in if you visit San Francisco. The area is truly so peaceful. Parking was safe and easy on the streets, we just had to move our car a couple of times per traffic rules. The staff was so kind, Stace was very helpful with suggesting places to visit, the breakfasts everyday were a fantastic way to start off our adventures. This place felt very much like a home. I cannot wait to return one day. '

'The Laurel Inn is up in Laurel Heights, away from the tourist/hotel concentration down by the Ferry Building. For us this was a big plus. The motel is comfortable, public transport is right outside the front door - and Muni is a great way to get around - plus there's a shopping strip just two blocks away on California St. A nice place all around.'

"Een hotel in San Francisco. Op ruime loopafstand van diverse bezienswaardigheden. Hotel was aardig aan de prijs. Boekte (dacht ik) met een parkeerplaats. Moest aan de receptie 35 dollar per nacht extra betalen. De hotelkamer heeft mij ruim 200 euro gekost per nacht. Zaten in een kamer naast de ijsmachine en een drankenautomaat. De gehele nacht hard gebrom en zeer hinderlijk geluid. De wifi is zeer zwak tot slecht. De bedden zelf zijn comfortabel. Op de kamer was geen magnetron of koelkastje. Het ontbijt was goed. Maar vind het alles bij elkaar het geld niet waard.
