'We really enjoyed our stay in Betancuria. The house was really clean and thoughtful equipped and beautifully designed. For us as a family it was ideal but as already mentioned the doors of the rooms don’t close properly. For us it was a good homebase to explore the island if you don’t want to stay in the touristy areas. After 6 pm there is not a single tourist left in this beautiful town! 'Hotel parfait quand on aime la tranquillité et qu'on veut fuir les usines à touristes. De là on peut partir à la découverte de toute l'île à condition d'avoir loué une voiture. Petit déjeuner en table d'hôte : énormément de bonnes choses à manger, d'échanges avec les autres voyageurs. Notre hôtesse, Marzia est aux petits soins et donne de bons conseils que ce soit pour les restaurants ou les lieux à visiter.'

'Alles bestens, zweckmäßig eingerichtet, im Schlafzimmer wäre ein Schrank nicht schlecht, alles sehr sauber, sehr ruhige Umgebung, aber sehr guter Ausgangslage um die Insel zu erkunden.'

'The Shambhala aparthotel was a very nice place to stay. As we enjoyed out overall stay, we do have note that the matras was terrible to sleep on and gave us terrible back and shoulder pains. My advice would be to have them replaced! In terms of the location Parque Holandes… The only restaurant worth visiting is Don Pepè at the start of the parque. Because of the isolated part the parque is located a car is surely advisable. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at Fuerteventura at the Shambhala. '

'Vorig jaar verbleven we in de goedkopere Olivia naast de deur...ik was dan ook teleurgesteld dat het eten van dezelfde (slechte) kwaliteit was....had wat anders verwacht voor een palace...de sfeer de kamers wel in.orde, thee en koffiezet in de kamer wat handig is, een zalig bad, veel.zenders op de tv, vriendelijk personeel, elke dag vonden we bijna geen ligstoelen aan het zwembad wegens het leggen vd handdoeken van mensen op de ligzetels terwijl ze er niet zijn...zou niet mogen !
