'the only thing i did not like is the hotel trying to run my card a day before when expedia acts like you pay at hotel when you arrive like the majority of hotels do. i complied and called them and they ran my card a day early, but then when i arrived they run the card again and tell me the other full charge would drop off in a day. Really made no sense and with all my travels I have never experienced that. I would stay here again if they can figure out a better procedure for charging for the...

"Clean, modern room- lovely location in a quiet street across a public space with waterfall. Close to subways, walkable to e.g. MoMa, Rockefeller centre.
Friendly, helpful staff. Rooftop has cool high rise views. My next trip will be with this Pod hotel again. "

The only thing about the area if you walk to and from the nearest metro station you have to go through a projects neigborhood. Where lot of people who live there specially in the evening are smoking weed, hanging arround. They dont bother you if you just mind your business. But i think if you are a woman alone it could feel unsave. "

Rooftop has a great view, but first you need to get thru the “I do this for so long, we don’t need guests, leave your camera in your room” door persoon. They include tip even on drinks at the bar… new for me in NYC.
My room was on the 11th floor and was happy that at 3 AM finally the rooftop bar turned of the music."
