'This appears to be a former motel that is being transformed into suites. The room appears to have been two motel rooms. The door previously used for adjourning rooms has been replaced by french doors. One bathroom was replaced with a kitchen. However, there weren't any pots and pans, dishes, or utensils yet. There was a microwave that could be used. One bedroom had 2 queen beds and the other had a queen bed and a couch. The pool was closed. The location that looked like it was used for checking...

'I would stay here again and again. I love the ambiance and charm of the historic home which still shines through along side the luxurious updates in the beautiful bathroom, soft rugs, comfy bed. They have thought of everything and provided a beautiful space to enjoy it in. Games, toiletries, coffee, water, an honor wine bar upstairs. I cannot wait to go back. 'Great Hotel'

'We needed an overnight stay and found BW with decent reviews. Check-in was a breeze. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean and soft, and the AC worked perfectly well with the South Carolina heat and humidity. And the toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion were good to have. The breakfast was nice, with sausage, eggs, waffles, and bagels. Great value. Easy on and off the highway.'

'To be new, it didn’t feel that way. Our room was not very clean. Shower had mildew on shower curtain, dirt and buildup around the room, unfinished/not finished properly areas of the room(walls, around light switches, bathroom counter). It was an okay stay but I did expect more/better from a new Marriott.'
