'The room was smaller than expected, it was basically just a bed and a balcony but it had a great view. There was AC, laundry, and 2 washrooms that were shared which was nice. It did get a bit loud at night and my room was right by the front door so it was also loud whenever people went in and out. So overall not the bestest experience compared to an actual hotel, but still not the worst. The location was okay too, central to everything but the abandoned building next door had some awful writing...

'We had a fantastic 2 night stay in the heart of Madrid. A 2-minute walk to Gran Via and walking distance to many main plazas. The hotel room was clean and accommodated 3 adults comfortably. Only suggestion would be to add more lighting in bathroom over the sink. Staff was helpful in arranging taxi for drive to airport. Thanks for a great stay!!'

'Centrally located, just steps off Puerta del Sol, yet completely silent, dark and cool (great a/c) which made for perfect sleeping. Not really a cozy place to hang out though (no natural light) and the check-in process was a little frustrating. Turned out just fine but got multiple emails asking for passport numbers even though we had already provided them and had a little trouble figuring out how to use the app to access the street-level door for the first time.'

'The air conditioning is only effective in one bedroom, therefore windows were opened at night and the street noise made it difficult to sleep. The location of the heat exchanger is between two buildings with several other heat exchangers from other units making that space very hot. These split units can only decrease the temperature by 15-20 degrees from the outside temperature which was artificially HOT due to all of the heat exchangers between the buildings. The heat exchanger should be moved...
