'Terribly run down. Loud. Lights shining in our room. Bathroom fixtures coming off the wall. I killed a cockroach in the bathroom. Pot smoke rolling under the connecting room door. Pool closed. But, staff were nice and efficient…they just didn’t have much to work with. And, I never do reviews.'

' The large windows in our room opened up to a beautiful view of the Ashley River., We also enjoyed having a real wood-burning fireplace. Our favorite part was the walkway to the Middleton Plantation. The Azalea’s were stunning in late March. We had dinner at the restaurant at Middleton plantation.And then we walked the lighted path back to our room. Magical! We enjoyed the Inn’s wonderful complimentary breakfast bar the next morning as well! '

'The place was very nice, right off the beach, and overall a clean establishment. The only issues I had was the walls felt paper thin. I heard every conversation in the rooms next to me and above me. Another flaw was the way the building was designed which gave the corridor a huge echo which exacerbated the noise problem. Also, there were a group of guys that were roomed right next to us and they kept us awake until about 1:30am and even then there were the occasional bangs, yelling, and music...

'Nice and beautiful resort, slow check in, problems with the bill which were fixed smooth and fast. Good pools and food.'

'The view of the ocean was the only good thing about my room. The air conditioner didn't cool, no coffe pot,refrigerator didn't work,broke ice machine,stayed on 9th floor one elevator broke also could have had a microwave per request found out last night there. The only good thing about stay was staff Kat and Ernest. If I could have stayed in the lobby would have been amazing very disappointing paying well over 300 a night. I will never go back to the Tides again.'
