'This is a WONDERFUL hotel. The staff is so kind, helpful and attentive. It is very clean There is not a lot in the area BUT the restaurants are delicious. There is a rooftop restaurant that is really good and has nice views for Nepal. The bathrooms could be improved because they flood when you shower and become a fall hazard but other than that 5 stars! '

'Wij waren een week in Kathmandu. Het Crowne Plaza hotel ligt op een afgescheiden ommuurde eigen terrein, wat een oase van rust opleverde in een anders zeer chaotische stad. Lekker om een beetje bij te komen. Het hotel heeft een aantal prima restaurants. De kwalitiet, maar ook de prijzen daar zijn wel gewoon ' westers'. De service is uitstekend. Iedereen is zeer beleefd en behulpzaam. Bellen voor ons voor excursies, herbervestiging bij de vliegtuigmaatschappij en dergelijke was geen enkele...

'The hotel is situated at a quiet alley. There is a security guard outside the alley so we felt safe even at night. Staff is friendly and helpful. But we have to complain about the airport pick up service. We reserved the airport pick up service at night. When the hotel driver picked us up, there was another guy helping us to move one of our suitcases to the car. We thought both this guy and the driver were from the hotel. After we loaded our suitcases to the car, the non driver guy requested...

'A very good stay in Kathmandu! The staff is very helpful - and we felt very well treated by them during our visit. E.g. we had been on a morning Mountain flight, where they had given us a breakfast package. They also gave us breakfast when we got back from the flight. The rooms are comfy and the breakfast is fully OK - and with superb coffee. We definitely recommend this hotel!'

'Great little clean hotel with nice complementary full breakfast, nice soft beds, hot showers every day, friendly staff, no sales pressure, on the edge of Thamel. I stayed here for 3 weeks and liked it verry much. Small supermarket and tripadvisers nr 1 restaurant next door. 10 minutes to Ratna buspark and Durbar square.'
