'Hoewel wij er als koppel verbleven was de accommodatie geschikt voor een gezin met 3 kinderen. Het huisje ligt op 100m lopen van het strand en is van alle gemakken voorzien inclusief een complete kitchenette. Het was bijzonder schoon evenals het beddegoed en de badlakens etc. De zeer vriendelijke staff gaf goede tips over restaurants en omgeving.'

'Safari tent was spacious and clean. The shared facilities were also cleaned regularly. Only negative feedback was related to other guests, mainly teenage kids running around the side of our tent in the middle of the night playing games. Outside of the control of the park itself. '

'Halifax Holiday Park in Nelson Bay was a fantastic getaway and exceeded my expectations. The location is absolutely perfect, with just a short walk to the beach as well as the local shops, cafes, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. 'There were a few bumps at the start with some bugs in the property but the owner was prompt at having the place fumigated and there were no more issues. Great location.'

Firstly, Christopher was very quick to respond to me during the booking phase and once we arrived, he was the right amount of a “welcoming host” Dusty the dog was also the perfect host ;)It had almost everything we needed which was unexpected because we took things we didn’t need too such as camp stove, cups, coffee, cutlery ect… but yes, this place will be added to my list of top tier camp sites.
