'Had a pleasant 2-night stay here! We loved how clean and organized the house was - even the cupboards and fridge. The bed was very cozy although quite firm. The view of the lake and sunset, and proximity to the park beach is great. Polly is very accommodating and includes delicious teas and coffees with your stay.'

'We did not stay. The front door looked like an abandoned building. We called and were directed to the right side of the building. There wasn’t parking on site. When we got up to the rooms. The lights to the bedrooms and living area where non functioning. Only the kitchen and bath had lights. I tried to switch on a bedside light it had no light bulb. We did call and she was going to send someone to check on it. By then it was 11:30 at night. We told her we would not stay there and found another...

Very clean with most essentials covered. Open dining room/living room made cooking, eating, while spending time together comfortable. Very nice place to stay. '

'It is very clean, probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever laid on. There are 2 TVs in the livingroom which is great for sports.'

'My wife and I planned a short trip to do a little hiking and visit a few wineries. There were several wineries within a short drive of town. The Hammondsport Hideaway was conveniently located in town just a short walk to shops and restaurants. It was very clean, cozy place with a comfy king size bed.'

'Nice studio unit, dividable by curtain for area with sleeper sofa. Awesome porch with rocking chairs, nice sun room with dining table. In the heart of this little town, walkable to all sorts of restaurants, shops, etc., as well as the lake. Bathroom is on the small side, but workable. Had a great stay.'
