'Amazing service and staff'

'The hotel it's small but super clean and well done. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom huge. The only thing is that is on a quiet neighborhood so it's like 20 minute walk to the canal and Nishiki market but still centric enough. Also, the futon sounds like a good idea until the second night and your hips are dying...just saying. It's not as easy as you think if you are 35 or older...'

'Wow. Just…wow! Beautiful building and interior, very clean rooms. Insanely great shower/tub/sauna bathroom. Spend the extra pittance for the sauna upgrade and thank me later. We arrived early, before the room was expected to be ready, but the front desk tagged and stored our luggage and delivered to the room once it was ready. Very convenient walking distance to Gion area temples and shrines. Easy access to other parts via the bus stop 100 ft away. 帰る方所ですね！'

'Beautiful hotel in a great and quite location of Kyoto. Upon arrival our forwarded luggage was waiting for us on our well appointed executive room, it was big enough for our family of three.Very comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, and the most gorgeous view to the mountains. Walking distance to Gion and so many temples. Service at the hotel is top notch. And the shuttle bus to/from the station is a great addition. Could not have stayed in a better place than this. We will certainly recommend...

'Located on a quiet street in Gion. Helpful staff with good enough English. Comfortable bed with a good sized room, for Japan. We enjoyed a good and filling Japanese breakfast one morning. This hotel has more of a bed and breakfast feel to it. The taxi accidentally took us to the Gion Misen Furumonzen hotel as Google Maps frequently gets them mixed up. However, that hotel is a sister hotel to Hotel Gion Misen so they had a staff member personally walk us the block over to the correct location. We...
