Spahotels in North Shore

'Briar Barn is truly everything ne wants in a hotel stay- custom, fantastic staff, lovely extra ammenities (coffee, pasteries, water, great soaps/lotions). The best part for us was the comfortable bed, nice soaking tub and sitting in front of the fire in our private room on our 17th anniversay!! The entire site is thoughtfully decorated with antiques that intrigue, and the "bones" of Briar Barn remain new and contemporary- so refreshing!!! We will most certainly be back!'

'Close to the airport with a shuttle.'

'Goede suite met twee slaapkamers voor gezin met grote kinderen. Niet echt modern maar ook nog niet gedateerd. Beetje tussenin. De bedden zijn goed en de kitchenette met koelkast is een prettig plus. Wifi op de kamer inbegrepen, evenals het ontbijt. De ontbijtruimte is wat klein, we waren er gelukkig vroeg bij. Er is een zwembad, maar dat ligt zowat op het parkeerterrein en nodigt niet echt uit om te gaan poedelen. Vriendelijk personeel. Dichtbij de snelweg maar gelukkig niet pal ernaast.'

'Super friendly staff. Guy working the front desk was extraordinarily helpful and nice. Shower got really hot and the pool was nice. Super close to Salem we were able to get a cheap uber there instead of trying to find parking. Only negative was that the tv was ancient. '

'Super hotel. De kamer was heel comfortabel en het ontbijt absoluut heerlijk en gevarieerd. Het zwembad was wel aan de koude kant, vooral de 2e avond. De ligging van het hotel is prima. 15 min lopen naar het strand en naar het station. Vanaf dit station konden we rechtstreeks naar centrum Boston gaan. Ook handig in het hotel: de was- en droogmachines. '

'I liked the airport shuttle service. The room was not cleaned and towels were changed in a strange way. The first night I was alarmed at 6 AM in the morning by the noise, house keeping was making in the hall. I liked the gym very much. The use of plastic cutlery at breakfast is rather poor. '
