Strandhotels in North Shore

'We had three people in the room. When we arrived the sofa bed was not made. When asked about it they said we would have to make the bed ourselves. I asked twice for another blanket. After one-half hour I had to hunt down a room service person and went with her to get a blanket'

'Heavily overpriced for the quality you get (on food and beverages). Also paying for beach chairs etc. Hotel is nice and we enjoyed the installation but food and beverages were very basic while all charged on premium rates. Also very high fees to rent beach equipment which in my point of view is outrageous. We have much better experiences in Hawaii concerning that so definitively something to improve. No problem to pay a price but you expect something in return which we didn't feel at all. '

'Management was available to help us locating the unit after a prolonged travel day (it was late at night). The unit was just as described. One pool was just a few steps away from the building. The golf course was behind the unit and had a nice walking path. It was a great location and allowed for us to explore the North Shore. Would recommend booking with Helena and her team!!'

'We enjoyed the approximity to the ocean and the beautiful view. The property was getting much needed repairs as we were leaving, and the room some improvement but was clean and well stocked with supplies and amenities. The only issue was the oven was out, but our rep Katie ordered us a pizza which we appreciated very much. Thanks for the stay'

'We stayed for 5 nights in this very nice condo and had a great time. It was very clean, had a well equipped kitchen and a good bed. It is a great place as a fall out for visiting the island. We would definately recommend this place! Maybe one tiny remark; when we booked on VRBO it wasn't quite clear that 1 of the beds is a sofabed. Thank you for letting us stay in your nice condo.'

'Easy check-in and great communication with host. The unit has been recently remodeled with a truly unique designed. New washer & dryer which were easy to use. Kitchen was very functional as well and we enjoyed making our own breakfasts and some dinners. Pool was really nice too. We loved how close it was to the Turtle Bay beach area (east of resort) and the ample free parking to access the beach. The hikes around Turtle Bay were fun as well. We will be back. This location is among the best...
