'This VRBO was perfectly located and very clean. We were not bothered by any noose from the gym downstairs. The only negative I can think of is the combined rooms upstairs. There is a large open doorway between the two rooms that at least a curtain or shutters of some sort wouldhave helped to add a little more privacy. Otherwise, both rooms had their own adjacent bathroom so you really didn’t need to pass through the other room aside from entering. We would stay there again.'

'We had a fantastic stay in St. Charles! This property was exactly as advertised with checking in & out a breeze. It was charming, clean, and contained everything we needed. The host was responsive, helpful, and friendly. We appreciated the dedicated parking space and the location was amazing! We walked to several shops, eateries, a park and Grandma’s cookies. As an added plus, there was a Turkish coffee shop downstairs (and a little ways up the sidewalk.)'

'I canceled my booking with in 1 hour of making the booking. it was not the location I wanted. it showed refundable but when I tried to get my money back I spent days and hours on the phone with Expedia and the host. the charge was definitely from the host but they refused to admit they charged me. I waited for 7 business days and then Expedia gave me the go ahead to dispute the charge. I will never book with them again and their customer service is terrible.'

'The apartment was easy to find. Parking lot was small. There was available parking on the street. The refrigerator made noise when running. I texted the manager and received a immediate response. They had someone come and look at refrigerator while we out of apartment. When we returned the refrigerator still made the noise. '

'A perfect spot for me and my son to stay while he played in a soccer tournament in St. Louis.'

'Good location, pretty noisy at night'

'We loved our stay for Memorial Day weekend! It was the perfect space to unwind after a day of walking around historic Saint Charles. Our favorite spot was the back deck. Having the garage was so convenient and the space itself is really beautiful. The only thing we wish we had prepared for was a lack of basic kitchen cooking items. We bought breakfast food to cook but did not think to bring cooking oil/s&p. Would love to stay again sometime! We had a great weekend.'

'Overall the stay was good, and the property has its charms. You will get your steps in for the day going up and down the stairway(s). Good value and lots of space.Had an issue with the dishwasher not working. Water had backed up from previous user, and nobody checked it. This resulted in a moldy and stinky concoction growing in the bottom of the dishwasher. Contacted host that morning by text and VRBO platform. No response from host until several days later after we checked out. I had to...

'Property was great and very clean. Check in process was extremely easy and very informative email was sent before check-in. The only thing that was lacking, which may be my own fault is the downstairs bedroom, the one with one bed is not a bedroom as the walls do not go to the ceiling. It offers privacy to get dressed but no privacy for conversations or intimate relations in the bedroom. The location was key so I would rent again but maybe not bring all my kids. :)'

'The apartment was newly remodeled and clean. However, there were many details unfinished. The shower is not roll in. It is small and you could roll a wheelchair up to it. The windows in the picture did not yet have window covering but we expected upon arrival. The main window was frosted and the half circle above had no covering. The light that would have come in at night would have been a problem but the main problem is that there was a 360 CAMERA that the city had installed with a direct view...

'The apartment was a perfect place for us to cool down and unwind after exploring local parks during a hot couple of days. It was very clean, comfortable and stocked with items that supplemented our needs for cooking, laundry and more. The snack basket was a hit with the grandkids as was the wooded area they spent some time walking through. I would love to stay here again should overnight accommodations be needed in the future.'
