'We loved this hotel! It has such a cute and authentic feel. The staff were incredibly lovely and accommodating. The rooms are spacious with cold AC, and the location is very walkable with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. One night, the club next door was a bit loud, but they provide earplugs (which we didn’t end up needing). Parking is limited in the area, but you really don’t need a car in this location. 'Accommodatie staat tussen woonhuizen en industrie waardoor je bij binnenkomst weinig verwacht maar bij binnenkomst is het verrassend aardig. De voorzieningen zijn vrij basaal waardoor de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding prima is. Kamer niet groot maar afdoende. Hetzelfde geldt voor de doucheruimte. Accommodatie is het meest geschikt voor wat jongere gasten. Er heerst een wat hippie-achtige sfeer. Geschikt voor surfers of jongeren die een wereldreis maken. Minder geschikt voor ouderen die luxe zoeken.'

'El lugar en áreas comunes es super lindo, y a pesar de que la ubicacion es retirada de la playa es muy sencillo llegar (solo que esta un poco oculta , les falta señaletica o anuncios o algun letrero para dar mejor con el espacio.) Pero la habitacion da mucho que desear, el aire sonaba y se trababa toda la noche, la regadera moja el excusado, las toallas son miniaturas y un poco secas y tiesas, y no sabiamos que habia actividades nocturnas en el espacio el ruido no nos lo esperabamos dentro del...

'What I liked most about this hostal is that it attracts all sorts of friendly people from around thw world and that thye hodt an event pretty much each day, keeping you engaged in the community. The staff are super friendly and even join on the daily events. The shared dormitories have slightly uncomfortable beds, but all of the facilites you need are there (locker, shower, and the like. 'El lugar está muy bonito, no le hacen justicia las fotos, muy limpio y el servicio súper amables, nos tocó la cabaña 9. Tiene u caminito y mirador increíble. Ahí mismo está un restaurante Honorio riquísimo y muy Nice, la cabaña tiene TV. Solo esa cabaña lo tiene, si lo que quieres es una cabaña a pie de bosque, pide la Rústica '

'Locatie is perfect (twee blokken van de restaurants en bars), lief en behulpzaam personeel. Nadelen zijn de badkamer die erg klein is en dat er naast het hotel wordt gebouwd waardoor je overdag veel geluidsoverlast hebt.'

'Die Lage ist klasse, etwas abseits und trotzdem in Laufnähe zum Zentrum (ca. 20 min), dafür ruhiger. In einem Viertel mit vielen Murales, Bars und Kunst, einen Katzensprung vom Bus Terminal 1. und 2. Klasse. Es gibt nicht viele Bäder/WCs, Geduld ist gefragt. Zimmer sind nicht sehr sehr funktional und einfach aber durchaus ok.'

'I cannot recommend Ginger Banana enough! The hostel is nice and centrally located. The space is calm, clean, and cute.The space was great, but the best part of Ginger Banana was the people! The staff seriously went above and beyond to help me navigate the city/find tours and make me feel welcome. They helped me feel comfortable and taken care of as a solo traveler. If you’re looking to visit Oaxaca City, definitely stay here.'

'Het Hostel is schoon en prima voor wat je ervoor betaald. Als je vroeg wilt gaan slapen zou ik oordoppen meenemen het ligt namelijk tegenover de enige clubs in het stadje en dat hoor je. '

"I paid for a room with 2 double beds, but received a room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. When I told this to the reception they first did not want to help me at all, only after a discussion they told me they would change the room the next day. I did not receive any refund or apology for getting a 3 person room while paying for a 4 person room. Furthermore, the view from the windows of the room was a wall.. No sunlight entered the room. Very very bad customer service. Some staff were very friendly, but a few receptionists ruined it with their bad attitude."
