'This is an older hotel that had been rebranded to Holiday Inn Express, so not the standard aesthetics of an HIEx. However the facility was nice, staff was friendly & breakfast was as expected from HIEx (love those cinnamon buns). My only complaint was I didn’t expect a queen bed instead of a king, and it wasn’t a great mattress.'

'When you walk in, it smells, and it doesn’t smell, clean the attendance the people who give you your room key they’re all nice. The attention was perfect, but that’s the only time that you get any type of attention when you go into the room the room stunk it smelled horrible. I moved past it. I put cologne. I sprayed a whole bunch of spray so the room wouldn’t stink and then as I was headed out so I could go get some food I see cockroaches entering through the crevices of the door. There were no...

'This hotel runs the incidentals as a charge rather than as an authorization. I caught this and called the hotel asking for a refund of the $100 incidentals charge. I was told it should be back in my account within 24 hours. 48 hours later it still isn’t returned. Just called the hotel again and was told it takes 5-10 business days for the refund to take place. When I told the woman this is why it should be an authorization rather than a charge she couldn’t care less what I had to say. This is a...

'We came from Michigan for a concert and the staff were so friendly and helpful! We had a small issue one day getting back into our room because the key scanner thing needed new batteries but they fixed it promptly! The rooms were super clean, beds were comfy, shower was hot, breakfast was great both days. If we’re ever back in Greensboro we will be staying here again!'
