'I stayed for 3 nights at the Avenue Plaza resort. The hotel is convenient located at St. Charles Avenue. The St. Charles streetcar stops right in front of the hotel. The room was large and beautiful decorated. Everything was clean, although there was no daily cleaning. It was a bit difficult to sleep because the airconditioning was very noisy and couldn't be turned off. 'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Perle Not sure why it’s called a hotel though. Felt more like a condo. Our place was gorgeous, unique, clean, and lacked nothing. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean and so pretty and they provided a Nespresso machine! We stayed here with my 4 adult children and one grandson. 'I was sceptical at first because there were reviews about it being in a rough neighbourhood , however, that is not the case it is right beside the medical school and veterans hospital. It is a 5 minute walk to the canal street car, taking less than 15 minutes to get to the French Quarter. We had no issue walking to and from the place at night. Very clean, very quiet and amazing for the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking to have a nice place to stay and I quiet place to sleep. '

'Property was in a convenient location. 4 minutes walk to casino. 10 minute walk to bourbon st. Best part is we didn’t have to deal with the nightlife unless we wanted too. Corner store in the corner.'
