'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'

'This was a quick turnaround trip for me so I was hoping that it would be smooth sailing however valet never came out to get my car which is $45 a night anyways. I ended up having to pay to park down the street. There were stains and hair on the sheets, I did not get the room I requested and paid for which was a king bed but the front desk lady was really nice. She was the best part of my visit. Other than that. It’s very average if you’re just kind of doing a quick trip.'
