'Stylish (European) boutique hotel in an affluent neighbourhood. Just 2 minutes walk north of train station. Sizeable room and bathroom. Great service. 'The service was very reliable and went out of their way to accomodate me. I also enjoy the washing machine in the room and was convenient. The only things I was not satisfied about were the pillows were not as comfy and had some trouble sleeping on them. I also didn't enjoy the washing machine's drying function as it didn't seem to dry at all. I had to walk to a nearby coin laundry to dry them. '

'Rooms were excellent with a wonderful layout, they were classy but economical and well appointed with great amenities. Beds were comfortable. The cafe connected was quite expensive with coffee at around 800Yen but it was nice to have that breakfast option. The front desk staff was not able to help in foreign languages so that made some things more challenging. Coffee in room was not replenished either which was disappointing as we stayed 5 days with 5 people in the room and only got 5 packages...

"Personnel was just amazing! The room, for Tokyo norms, was actually quite spacious. It was always spotless clean after I returned from work. I didn't have lunch or dinner here so I do not know if it is good, but twice I had the breakfast and I found that I really got excellent quality. The buffet is a mix of East and West, with many warm options such as beef ragout pasta and grilled chicken (if that is what you like) but you also find the traditional Western items there such as cheese, smoked salmon, eggs etc. The hotel was close to a railway station which I could use with my Japan rail pass. It's in a quiet and safe area and when you look out of the window you are not going to see many neon signs or those typical Tokyo neon lit streets, but you are just a very short drive removed from Shinjuku station which provides more action. You get a personal terrace which I found great. I personally had the view of the park which was amazing. Personally I appreciated the quiet surrounding, but it's a matter of preference. I did not use the common pool but they have one. I did use the gym though. It is a nice clean gym. Putting some weights there would be a nice addition for those of us who like to work with weights instead of doing cardio. All in all, I would say 9/10. Thanks a lot. "
