'My family stayed for 3 nights to check out Acadia. The rental was perfect for our family of 3, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was even a little grocery store less than a 1/4 mile down the road. It was about a 25 minute drive to get to most of the big Acadia sites since they are on the other side of the Island, like the Jordan Pond House, Thunder Hole, and Sieur De Mont.However, we considered that a good thing because it was much quieter and relaxing out in Southwest Harbor. 'The house was clean and comfortable. The views were beautiful and sitting on the porch watching the seals and birds were very relaxing. Overall, great place to stay.'

'This was a great cabin, beautiful views and overall fun experience with the kids. The loft area is a little small for four of us so we ended up sleeping two in the loft and two on the main floor. Prepare yourselves for the mosquitoes! I wish we had more time to kayak, but we did have s'mores at the fire pit and cooked our own lobsters. '

We had everything we needed and was able to take a five minute drive to a nearby IGA for food and supplies, and had lovely restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the short drive to the bottom of Long Pond for hiking and a peaceful, beautiful place to read and sit to start and end our days. The campground was just so peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend.'

'We had a fantastic stay at this cozy, clean, and welcoming cabin in rural coastal Maine. It's in a peaceful, private setting surrounded by beautiful nature, with incredible starry nights and horses nearby. The location is perfect for exploring charming local towns, swimming in nearby lakes, picking blueberries, and visiting Acadia National Park. The host was very responsive and friendly. It’s a place we definitely want to come back to!'

The thoughtful touches such as the games, travel coffee mugs and well stocked fire pit and activity closet make this rental stand out against all the others. The whole property was spotless and beautiful. Conveniently located to the park and some excellent lobster rolls. I cannot say enough good things.
