'TownePlace is a solid chain. Love the amount of space and comfort these rooms have to offer. This particular hotel in Brooklyn is new (so the price it probably going to quadruple in the next month). The breakfast here was also a much welcomed part of stay. Looking forward to staying here again if the situation arises! '

'This hotel is quite good! The front desk staff was nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious—my granddaughters loved the pancake machine. It was great that there was a pool table so I taught my granddaughters to play pool. The room itself had plenty of space and the ventilation was very quiet. My only issue was the refrigerator motor which was very noisy.'

'The reception desk was behind bulletproof glass, suggesting a concern about safety, but then the elevator didn't have a key card reader to prevent unauthorized access to upper floors. Hmmm. The floors in the halls and in the rooms are all uncarpeted hard surfaces so you can hear every door closing in the hallway, making it very difficult to sleep.'

'I spent one night here to catch a cruise ship. I didn't expect much but was pleased with the helpful staff and very nice breakfast. The neighborhood is working class/industrial but the inn was a notch above. If I had more time, I would have explored the reportedly wonderful deli on 4th Street.'
