'The property is unquie because it is basically a self serve property. You are given a code to enter the building, as well as your room. Housekeeping is there in the day, if needed. There are extra linens if you need them, at any time.The one thing I didn't like was shared bathrooms. Overall, a good experience.'

'First night booked in a room facing the Durty Nellie - this is a party location - staff were great moving us the following day to a quieter room. Only thing we weren’t fans of is the toilet was behind closed doors and the sink on the outside of it. The room facilities were great, we were very comfortable. Only recommendation is to get softer towels - they were a bit rough however replenished daily and clean'

It is only a short two block walk to the restaurants at Bishops Landing, the Halifax harbour boardwalk, and one block to the Keith's Brewery Market. There isn't an elevator but this wasn't an issue for us 70+ seniors Our room was on the third floor. 'Close to interesting boardwalk along harbour in Halifax and right in the lower part of the center with many restaurants nearby. This means also that you have to walk uphill in many cases. Hotel is somewhat dated and internetreception was less than expected. Friendly personnel. '
