Very disappointed. 95% of the staff were not friendly or welcoming.
At check in, we were told Expedia messed up our booking and one of our kids was booked in as an infant, and we had to pay another $1,100 to stay! Other friends staying there at the same time, said they were charges and extra $250 a night.
Service at the restaurant was good, but all the buffets seemed very slow and disorganized. Sometimes it would take over 15 minutes to get a coffee or water after being seated. Even when they just opened and we were the first people there. My 6 year old daughter had a nose bleed in the middle of the night, and they wanted to charge us $5000 pesos for the bedding!! We forgot our coats in the closet, and contacted them the next day, and they said they would try to find them. We’ve emailed multiple times since and they haven’t replied. For such a big and beautiful resort, I was extremely disappointed. Would never stay there again, nor ever recommend. The one staff member at Ventus Ha named Alex, was one of the very few staff members that was very friendly and helpful. Also George the bar tender at the rooftop bar was amazing.
