The room & bathroom had damaged walls, stains on the walls and tiles, areas where something on the walls or furniture was either removed or broken but never replaced or repaired. The room phone was not plugged nor worked when I plugged it in to the wall phone jack. I arrived too late to check and find other accommodations. I did not know the area. 'This is an old-fashioned two-level motel, with outside stairs and a narrow catwalk to your second-floor room. It showed signs of wear, of course, but everything was neat and clean. The room was a nice surprise; the rug looked new and the beds were comfortable and attractive. There were no offensive odors and everything was clean.
