'Rooms were excellent with a wonderful layout, they were classy but economical and well appointed with great amenities. Beds were comfortable. The cafe connected was quite expensive with coffee at around 800Yen but it was nice to have that breakfast option. The front desk staff was not able to help in foreign languages so that made some things more challenging. Coffee in room was not replenished either which was disappointing as we stayed 5 days with 5 people in the room and only got 5 packages...
'Gajoen is a beautiful calm hotel in the middle of a overwhelming city. What a joy to come back every night to this hotel. Personnel are friendly and efficient, rooms are the most spacious and comfortable. We loved the quietness and zen feeling of this place. Restaurants are excellent and the museum side is a must visit when in Tokyo. We will definitely come back. '
'This was my favorite stay in Japan! Beautiful, peaceful property with exceptional staff and service. I injured myself and was using crutches when I visited, and the staff was so kind and accommodating - they made us dinner reservations, brought us breakfast, and allowed me a bit of extra time for checkout since I was moving slowly. 'The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The room was great and spacious. Excellent property! Walking distance from the trían station. I highly recommend.'
'Beschikbaarheid van wasmachine en wasdroger was erg prettig. Helaas is dit ook een nadeel omdat de kamers erg gehorig waren, hoorde je ook de hele nacht wasmachines centrifugeren. Verder is de kamer ook erg krap. Twee koffers passen er niet zomaar in, hiervoor moet je wel de gehele bureau leegruimen. Lokatie hotel is zeer prettig want het ligt 3 minuten van station Gotanda.'
