'Sketch area. Tons of homeless pushing their carts up and down the street in front of hotel. Clerk is behind bullet proof glass. You can see a huge lobby- all behind glass like a weird museum. You're confronted with signage taped to the glass telling you everything you don't get and aren't allowed to do. If you pre-paid via Expedia or hotel.com, they rudely tell you you must pay a $30 cash deposit or no room. Pet deposit quoted 10 per pet online- they charged $12.50 per pet. Oh we made the...

'There were no fresh towels when my finance I got there. The room said non-smoking but as soon as you open the door all you smell is cigarettes. Shower/tub faucets are super loose I thought it was going to fall out.'

'I’m a little confused on how this hotel got the ratings that it did… the neighborhood is very sketchy. Men in the parking lot jamming out, homeless population right outside the hotel, etc… I (woman) was traveling alone and felt very unsafe. Would not stay again. Carpets were stained and sticky feeling, AC didn’t work in the first room I was out in. Hotel is old and did not feel very clean. Very disappointed, being that the reviews I saw were pretty good…really not sure how it got such high...

'Friendly staff, great breakfast, clean and safe…loved it! I especially appreciated how the room service staff left extra makeup wipes after cleaning our room mid trip once she realized it was all women staying there.'

'When my finance and I first got there a roach crawled out of the fridge when we opened it. None of the channels worked on the TV. The remote only worked for maybe two minutes then quit. The buttons on the TV didn’t work either. The turn disc inside the microwave was broken so the whole time you’re warming up your food all you hear is clanking.'

'This hotel needs a major renovation. It is not handicap accessible. Bed sheets have tears. Bath linen is old & worn out. Breakfast quality is poor. This hotel is the worst that I have experienced.'

'Rooms are okay. Breakfast is not worth the effort. Unfortunately, the toilet did not flush. I had overheard another guest complaining and she got a new room offered. I found out too late to change rooms late at night. Apparently, plumbing was under repair, and they had better not given out the rooms that were not ready. I got a 10 dollar discount offered when I informed the reception in the morning.'

'It was a good visit the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was just fine although I'd suggest anyone bring a pillow from home unless you like yours very flat. I was only there for one night but i did not encounter any issues. I recommend this hotel as it is in a great location and meets all basic needs. '

'The room beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The room was clean. It was very quiet and easy to sleep. They had a great breakfast. In addition they had a small bar that offered a quick bite to eat during the evening so we didn't need to leave the property.'

'People using weed in the building. Room (studio) itself was large with enough amenities ( large fridge/freezer, microwave, coffeemachine and toaster). Floor was sticky at some places and the warning to lock and use the deadlock wasn’t very assuring about safety. Good for a night.'
