'We enjoyed the coziness of this cabin and took many beach strolls as the beach is within walking distance. Appreciated the efficiency and very tidy space. The porch our favorite space with an ocean view, sufficient sun shade and nice breeze. This allowed us to spend time with our small pup who can’t handle long stints in the sun. The Sun room was adorable space to read and lounge. Rare treat to find a space for 2 and your furry family member. Super clean!! We would love to visit again!!'

'We loved Cheryl’s beach house and are definitely coming back!!! The sunsets are phenomenal and the weather was just right, this vacation was highly needed and helped us unwind and just tune in with the sea gods lol Loved every bit of her house!'

'Great home for a quick stay in the Surfside area! Not too far from the water or local eateries/ businesses. Host was able to accommodate a later checkout time as well. Overall very pleased :)'

'House was clean and well equiped. There is a lot of repair going on in the area from the hurricane, it rained a lot while we were there so we explored the area. Not too far from some fun things. Houston and Galveston Island. The house did have a smoker smell, To moat it probably wasnt that bad but we definitely noticed it. . All in all it was a nice trip. Wish the weather was better. 😞'

'Had a very relaxing stay. The only reason for four stars on the location was it was so far from everything. That could also be a plus, but we were not prepared for it and had to make a couple of 60 mile round-trips into Bay City. I was amped about all of the positive fishing reviews, but alas, the wind, and all of the rain made the fish scarce. But it still beat working :)All in all, we really enjoyed watching the surf crash into the sea wall across the ICW and all of the barges going to and...

'The property has perfect access to the beach! We had a great visit for my son's 13th birthday celebration with his friends. They stayed in the bunkroom upstairs which was perfect! The grounds ("yard") were a bit rough, but hurricane Beryl had a lot to do with that I'm sure. We didn't use the yard and were there for the beach so it was fine. The house is well kept and clean, but the front door could use some work. The extra fridge is a bonus! The place was just what we needed!'

'Quiet, clean, well appointed 2br, 2bath. Cozy, comfortable, well designed. Great location, great communication, and ownership does the little touches that show they care and appreciate the customer! Good outdoor area, views of ocean, short walk to ocean, perfect! '

'Our family had a great time and really enjoyed the house! The only complaint i would have is that the grill did not work and neither did the shower downstairs to rinse off from the beach. Other than that, it was perfect!'

'My husband and I were in Surfside Beach to do some fishing. The cottage was the perfect size for the two of us. There were many thoughtful touches throughout the unit that contributed to a pleasant stay-big fluffy bath towels, extra toilet paper and paper towels, plenty of bedding, clear checkout directions, to name a few.We mentioned a couple of maintenance issues to the host that they were probably not aware of. 'The house and location was great. It did have a yard area I didn’t see a garden. I don’t remember a washer and dryer but there is a washteria/ laundry mat as you are enter Surfside which I have used before. We hope this house is still there after Beryl hurricane. We loved it and will be back. '
