'The place was great. The only issues we had were with the AC. But to be honest we had alot of kids in and out all day, so that probably contributed to that issue. But overall our stay was great and we would do it again. '

'Absolutely loved this house! It was clean, beautiful, and fully stocked! The kitchen was awesome! This beach house definitely left like HOME! It's decorated beautifully and the views are stunning! This is definitely a house we will return too! Communication with host was easy and she answered quickly! '

'We had the best time! Kitchen is open and the place has plenty of sunlight! Allows everyone to have their own privacy but also plenty of room to sit in dining area and living room! Right off beach! We will be booking again!!!'

'We love this place. This was our second visit. It's great for fishing and crabbing. The home is clean, and there are plenty of activities to do at the house (kayaking, games, cornhole, firepit, etc. It is a short drive to the beach, to stores, and good restaurants if you want to venture out. It's an hour away from Houston. NASA is a fun day trip. We highly recommend the Lone Oak River Retreat.'

'Absolutely amazing property with direct access to the beautiful beach! The house was amazing and the perfect amount of space we needed! Comfy beds and couches! Great kitchen! Very well kept!'

'Was easy to access and talking with the owner was simplistic! Walmart and anything you could possibly need is only 20 minutes away. They are correct when they say you need to bring your own water. Plenty of beds and room. We went to Yucca beach (15 per day to park) and also the free beach thats a couple of miles down the road. I recommend the free beach the beaches are the same and well its free, lol.At the beaches we saw crabs, baby sharks, hermit crabs, fish, and jellyfish.We will stay again.'

'We very much enjoyed our stay our stay at this property. Super cute and clean property right on a canal. Very peaceful and quiet area. We did some fishing off the dock and loved sitting on the patio to soak up the nice breeze and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. 10/10 would stay here again and again!!!! '
