'We were not aware that the bar and restaurant are closed and that there is no continental breakfast. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and the staff were wonderful!'

Only stayed for the ONE night and we were better off sleeping on the side of the road than burn $150 for room that had beds less comfortable than concrete; Stained bedding so untrustworthy, we slept in sleeping bags; hot water just did not exist for us and the water in general was very suspect, just like the slimy bathroom knob. Wifi was so spotty that it was not even worth using, if all of that wasn’t enough, we didn’t feel safe either! Deadbolt didn’t function and a chain was so...

'Floor wasn’t vacuumed. There was dirt and like stone or pebbles on it. The bottom of my feet were dirty from walking on it barefoot. We couldn’t get any hot water in shower. Very noisy. Staff was outside our room in the morning hours talking loudly with lone another using profanities. I will definitely not stay there again and will not recommend it. Property is very run down.'

'The location is amazing but the lousy check-in had me thinking, “These people aren’t even going to try, why would they, with the lake right there?” Happily, the early-morning staff made up for the “prime-time” front desk (check-out wasn’t great, either). Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious, reasonably priced, and the waitress was pleasant and attentive. I’ll likely be back, because I plan to attend more shows at The Smith, and it’s an easy walk (again, location!). I’ll just brace myself...
