'Nicely renovated art, deco style old hotel. The lobby was a little sparse, but I wasn’t really spending my time there anyway. Conveniently located right downtown and walking distance to some restaurants. The free parking available behind the hotel was wonderful!'

'To be perfectly honest when we entered the room we thought 😮 WOW !!! We should sleep like babies . . . The room was the size of a babies room and it may as well have been fitted with furniture from a small camper. We have stayed in nicer tents than this room! Description of the property was quite deceptive to say the least as well as the description of the surrounding area and availability of amenities and activities. Extremely disappointing and the price was absolutely ridiculous 😡'

'Spa is amazing with excellent staff. Would highly recommend everyone visit and have a relaxing day at the spa. However, the restaurants connected with the hotel are okay at best. The fine dining restaurant was okay & had decent food, yet nothing wowed me it really missed the mark for excellent food at a fine dining restaurant. 'The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean, comfortable, and free of any unpleasant odors. The window could be opened slightly to allow fresh air inside, making the room comfortable even on a warm day without needing much air conditioning. The breakfast area was also spotless and offered a wide variety of choices. Parking was easy, convenient, and felt safe. The only drawback was that weekend rates were nearly twice as high as weekday rates.'

'Website makes the hotel look a lot nicer than the hotel actually is. The beds are pretty much on the floor. Pool was closed until 5pm first day we got there with no warning. They sent us a txt when we first checked in and the txt said if we needed anything, to respond to the txt. I did, and never got a response back. The furniture outside our room didnt have any padding. Just wicker furniture that was covered in bird poop. Didn't seem very well maintained. Had to put a towel down on the chairs....

'We enjoyed our stay at the Auburn Holiday Inn. The check in process smooth and we found all the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast groupons offered at time of booking our room seemed to be a great choice. We really enjoyed our breakfast choices and the food was very good.'
