'I stayed here for three nights and had a great experience. The room was clean, quiet, and well maintained. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. 'I had a very disappointing experience at Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel in Tokyo. For the price they charge, I expected a much higher level of cleanliness, comfort, and service, but unfortunately the experience was not worth the money at all.
The room did not feel clean, and one of the biggest issues was that they did not provide a baby crib. Because of that, my wife and our child had to sleep on the floor, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel at this price level.
The most frustrating part...

'Dormy Inn Shibuya was an excellent stay for our purposes. Close to Shibuya and Harajuku stations for connections, shopping and eating options. While some staff lacked knowledge of English, they were always extremely helpful. The hotel itself was in fine form, too. Rooms a bit small, but that's Japan for you. And facilities and cleaning services were great. Lovely onsen bathing facilities. Recommended!'

We booked one of the smaller rooms. The small rooms are oppressively tiny. No space for anything including walking. You can barely open the door without bumping into the bed. An extra foot in each direction and some wall hooks would make a lot of difference. The bed is comfortable and overall we had a great stay…. But the size of the room is shocking when you first walk in. No space for luggage but...
