'This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back '

Pub voor ontbijt en eten was minder schoon. Wc zelfs smerig. Eten bestellen via een app., maar dan krijg je weer niet de 10% korting als gast. 'Fabulous hotel. The food was first class, the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We stayed in one of the cottages. everything was excellent, clean and comfortable, all the facilities you would except were available. If I am being pedantic, the decor in the cottage was dated compared to the main hotel, but some may love the styling.

'Overall a very pleasant stay, it was a very hot day so the room was hot but it did have portable fan. Welcome and service by the staff was excellent.
The main entrance door has a strong spring on it so very noisy when people allowed it to slam shut.

The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! '

'Great hotel in nice manor. The house itself is very well preserved notwithstanding the modern extensions and the modernisation of the interior. Great space rooms and good facilities like a pleasant swinging pool. We did eat in York before our arrival but the restaurant seems good, the breakfast there was excellent. Good place to stay when visiting York.'
