Hotels voor shoppers in South Bronx

'I travel for business to NYC and I'd never stayed in the Bronx. My usual areas were either full or overpriced so I took a shot at a good looking listing. I was impressed with not only my accommodations, but the building amenities were also top notch. Excellent gym! I wish there was more in the immediate area, but because of the road interchanges, it was difficult to walk many places. Perhaps if I had met a local or had more time to explore I could have found some good local spots for food or...

'Prima hotel, grote schone kamers, vriendelijk personeel, starbucks koffie in de lobby, Times Square op loopafstand. Kortom, een aanrader.'

'The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very nice. The only negatives were these: (a) The area outside the hotel is very dirty -- NYC in general has really declined, of course, and that's the issue. (b) The new system for the elevators at the hotel is absurd, and the hotel should go back to the old system.'
