'Overall this hotel is nice. We liked the things available at the hotel to do- cornhole, connect 4, dining, firepit, pools….. The indoor pool was down our whole time- it was raining our whole trip so this was something we were looking forward to. The bed was not that comfortable. There was mis communication- we ended up having to pay $100+ security deposit when we arrived although we thought we had paid for everything prior during booking. I wish they would have just done that at booking and...

'This is a beautiful resort that, while clearly showing its age, is well-maintained. There is plenty to see and do, and the beachfront location provides stunning sunrise views. The staff were consistently welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. However, there were a few minor drawbacks. Specifically, our room featured a connecting door, which meant we could hear everything from the neighbors next door, making it difficult to maintain privacy. Despite that, we enjoyed our time here.'

'If you get a room at Sweetgrass Inn with a water view, be prepared to hear children screaming in the pool below all day long. They are not just screams of delight - there are lots of screams of distress. The service and food at the Oystercatcher in the hotel were just mediocre- too bad they don’t raise the quality there. Overall we had fun but there is a lot of room for improvement.'

'Shuttle service provided was terrific. Driver David very friendly and attentive. Had a personal pillow removed by cleaning staff that was not addressed or returned which was disappointing. Had a car for transportation otherwise quite a distance from main attractions of Myrtle beach. Hotel quiet. Elevators often had lengthy wait times to get to your room.'
