'Yes everything was good'

'Paid extra for a sea view, it seemed that the better rooms with a proper sea view and higher floors required an upgrade when you check in, which they kept pushing. Most of the pools were closed or dirty. The hotel is on the flight path. We had a junior suite and this has a window to a corridor, so anyone walking past looks in at the bed. Then you also have to pay extra for parking, resort fees and tax, so will have to add $60 per night to the hotel cost. '

'King Oceanfront Room was spacious, clean, and updated with wooden floors. We requested the safe in the room to be fixed twice, but still did not work. The entrance door panel was broken and hanging the whole time we stayed. The bathroom was spacious, and the towels were thick and soft. The shower pressure was excellent. The king bed was very comfortable, the sheets were soft, and the comforter was perfect. The lazy river was quite dirty, but we spent most of our time at the beach. The adult pool...

'Could not see the beach.'

'This hotel was wonderful 10 years ago when my husband and first visited Myrtle Beach. This year spring break we brought 2 of our children and 2 grandchildren. Black tarps hung in the entrance to the lobby. Construction started every morning as we were eating breakfast. The lobby seemed as if I was in the way of the workers. When we talked with management one said that this would not bother them at all and another Assistant manager said in a few weeks this will be beautiful. We complained...

'Staff was very nice. Pullout bed's mattress was very thin. Felt safe. Affordable. Ample parking.'

'We had an Ocean view room when we arrived to the hotel. We did not know the hotel we arrived to was not our original hotel so we were really upset before we even got to experience it. We stayed in the beachfront rooms. It was very musky when you walk in very dusty. Our bed did have a bug in it and a few hairs that were not ours on the pillows. When we pulled the covers back to inspect the sink in the bathroom was very dirty. It looked like black mold. Coming from it we had to go by cleaning...

'Pro's: direct on the beach, room is big enough, clean. There's a fridge, a microwave and a coffeemaker with coffee. Not the season for a pool, but it looked nice. Cons: for the cold nights the blankets didn't do it. Putting on the heating unit made so much noise that you couldn't sleep through it. The wall/door to the adjacent room made it that you could literally follow the conversation there. '
